Over the past year, I was involved in a number of recording projects, primarily playing vibraphone, marimba, and percussion. These included two records with Alex Gordon Hi-Fi (This Kingdom Is Wild and In The Land of Hi-Fi), the single “Tried on a Smile” by Ruby Velle & the Soulphonics, and a track on the Songs of the Architect holiday record A Very SOTA Christmas, Vol. 1 with my chamber-pop jazz trio Tres Lechers. In addition, I was able to take part in a few unique video projects for Turner Classic Movies and Puddles Pity Party, as well as some performances with Kingsized and the Atlanta Pops Orchestra. And I was able to get behind the kit for a few gigs with The Sundogs, Andrew Hyra’s latest project Smokin’ Novas, Coy Bowles & The Fellowship and Sonia Leigh.
